I think in colors. Always. Just colors and design, it is what I breathe every day. I can't watch TV without thinking about product placement or how good, bad or indifferent I think the commercials are. I also enjoy the finer things in life like fuzzy blankets and cheese. Okay, spending time with my friends and my a cappella group, Partial Credit, is up there too, but nothing's better than a good port wine.
After 3½ years here at RPI I have decided that I want to stay in college forever. If that can't happen, then at least I can make the most of what I have left. Rich
HEY EVERYBODY!!! I'm Rich, a junior majoring in civil engineering. I'm from Long Island which is about 3½ hours from campus. I am involved in such clubs as the RPI TaeKwonDo sparring team, ski/snowboard club, and the Rensselaer Aeronautical Federation (RAF - better known as the flying club). I just completed ground school which was offered on the weekends here at RPI for club members and plan to go solo very soon. I'm also in two intramural sports, gym floor hockey and dodge ball. Amanda
As senior year is here, life becomes more and more focused on where I'm going to be in just one short year. The fun things to think about like location, but also the hard topics, like resumes and interviews. At the end of the day, you can find me either at football games, going to snowboard, or hanging out with my sorority sisters. Enjoy following me through my last year here! Todd
The same old routine day after day just doesn't work for me. I need at least a little diversity in my life every day, and the college life certainly provides me with that. Intramural sports, weekend activities, plus living off-campus with six other guys, all allow me to constantly experience something not quite like anything that has happened to me before. I'm here at RPI enjoying my senior year and studying Civil Engineering. I'm graduating this May but planning on staying here to get my master's degree beginning next fall. That should provide me with at least another year of unpredictable college excitement Lauren
When I'm not working on my senior design projects, I'm out and about in the great outdoors. Being apart of the RPI Outing Club has allowed me to break away from my city life of the past and welcome in the fresh air of New York, Vermont and Mass. With my final year looming ahead; expect lots of talk on good 'ole graduate school, jolly job interviews, outstanding outing club adventures, sick snowboarding, and crazy classes. Bobby
Bobby Wood was born in Schenectady, New York, and attended a small private school. He applied to RPI as an engineer, but has since switched to EMAC, and now management. When he's not figuring out what degree to get, he enjoys performing in RPI's "best and only improv comedy troupe", Sheer Idiocy. Brandace
I am student who is currently on Co-op. I actually Co-op at the Admissions Office at RPI. My official title is Undergraduate Student Ambassador Co-op. I am also taking my last class to finish my undergraduate degree. Follow me as go through the Co-op program at Rensselaer and see what exciting things there is to learn about being a student Co-op and Humanities Major. Alejandro
Hey all, I'm Alejandro. For the past few months I have been surviving Munich Germany. I first started learning German 2 years back at RPI and so far it has taken me across the Atlantic. Back when I was at RPI I, I enjoyed playing intramural sport such as soccer or ice hockey (both which I'm really bad at). I spend a lot of time with the RPI Abada Capoeira Club training and freeing myself from stress. Or go to some RPI Outing Club trip since I have good friends which participate quite frequently in these activities. I also enjoy music so when I could I would go to ground zero and hear everything from the bad to the great or go to some UPAC concerts. Here in Munich Germany, I'm enjoying life and trying to better my German. I'm taking electrical engineering class mostly in German. I've been traveling around Europe whenever I have vacations and meeting people from all different cultures. I found this to be wonderful learning experiences which will help me further develop. |
